About Sheila Sheila is an oil painter living and working in Denver Colorado. She has a background in graphic design, paper-making, glass art, watercolor and charcoal and first began painting large abstract oil paintings in 2001. Sheila describes her process as a conversation or a dance with the canvas. She makes a mark and then lets the canvas dictate the next move. Sheila's primary intent with her paintings is to "be a source of light and energy that people can bring into their homes. Nothing makes me happier than to think that I can infuse a home with a new vibrancy." Sheila's main focus for the past five years has been creating custom commission pieces.
